Anyone who wants to run is welcome.

Helderberg Harriers has been running the roads and vineyards of the Helderberg since 1977. Time trials every Tuesday, packruns every Saturday, and two of the Cape's best races each year.

47th Sportsmans Warehouse Winelands MarathonSold out

The club's own race, and its 47th running. Three distances through the winelands of Stellenbosch and Somerset West, starting at 05:30. The 42.2km is a Comrades and Two Oceans qualifier.

Membership

Join the Harriers

Membership is open to anyone living in the Helderberg — Somerset West, Strand, Gordon's Bay and Macassar. You get a WPA licence, club colours, and a pack of people who will drag you out on a cold Saturday morning.

Club kit

Members wear the red and white club vest or T-shirt with WPA licence numbers front and back, plus red pants at official races. Red shorts or tights from any supplier are fine.

Kit is collected at Tuesday time trials or Saturday packruns.

HH Help Fund

Runners helping runners

The Help Fund supports Harriers who need a hand — clothing, shoes, meals, race entry fees and travel. It runs on monthly contributions from members.
